Solaris 11 / Oracle Database 12.1.0.2(12c)

아.. 욕나오는 3일간의 설치. 

Solaris 11 및 Oracle 12c 환경에서의 Install은 지옥같았다. 

1. * 설치 전 환경구성 안됨-> 환경변수 및 커널 설정값 오류
2. * Linking 안됨 -> VM 메모리 부족 및 shm max 값 오류 
3. * 설치 중 죽음 -> ㅠㅠ 
4. * 설치 후 Configuration Assistant 동작 안함-> netca 명령어로 강제실행
5. * 설치 후 리스너 구성 안됨 -> netmgr 로 설정
6. * xhost 오류 -> 완전히 로그아웃 후 oracle 계정으로 로그인 하면 해결 됨

1. 커널 설정 후 재부팅 할 것.

2. Oracle계정의 환경변수 및 Project Join확인 후 재부팅 할 것

2-2. DISPLAY 변수 관련 오류 시 완전 로그아웃 후 Oracle계정으로 로그인 할 것 (su oracle 금지)

3. 설치 중 env_rdbms.mk 파일 수정

3-1. 오라클 12c에서 위 옵션이 안먹히는걸로 확인. 

VM 환경에서 메모리가 부족(3GB이하)하여 발생하는 증상으로 

Need more memory

I indeed had ‘not much’ memory (2GB) for my VM in Oracle VM and after increasing the memory to 3GB and relinking, irman and ioracle where build!
Relink with:

cd $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin
/usr/bin/make -f $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk ioracle
/usr/bin/make -f $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk irman
